Custom closets in Pickering
A custom closet is built to the wall you have, with hanging, shelving and drawer sections set to what you actually own. Pickering is largely 1990s and 2000s subdivision housing, with older stock near the lake and country properties to the north. Older houses tend to have narrow, deep closets on a single rod, while newer builds give a wider opening and more height to use above the shelf.

Attached garages and wide driveways make delivery straightforward in the subdivisions, while rural addresses need the route confirmed first. We measure the opening, build and dry-fit the unit in our shop, then deliver and install it, scribing the end panels to the wall on site.
Finished basements in Pickering lose height to duct bulkheads, so we measure after framing rather than working from the joists.

How long does a closet take from measure to install in Pickering?

Can you build into a closet that still has damaged drywall?
Yes, as long as the wall is sound where the cabinets fix. Patching and painting behind the run is easier before we deliver, so we flag anything that needs attention at the measure rather than on install day.
Our basement ceiling is low after the ducts. Will a bar fit?
Yes, with the heights adjusted. We measure the finished ceiling at the lowest bulkhead and set any upper cabinet or glass rack under it, then keep the counter at a standard working height so it still feels normal to stand at. Everything overhead is drawn on the rendering so you can judge the headroom.
Do you serve the rural part of Pickering north of the highway?
