Custom kitchen cabinets in Oshawa

A custom kitchen is measured, drawn and rendered before a board is cut, then built in our shop and installed by the same crew. Kitchen replacements, pantries, basement bars and closet storage are the regular Oshawa jobs.

Custom kitchen cabinets · Oshawa

Oshawa, on the ground.

Oshawa's older core has small kitchens, low basement ceilings and rooms with several doorways, while the north end is newer and larger. Older kitchens bring bulkheads, out-of-square corners and plaster to scribe to; newer ones bring long runs, islands and ceilings tall enough for two-tier uppers. Driveways are often short and streets near downtown can be narrow, so delivery is planned around where the truck can stop. We measure to the millimetre, build and dry-fit in the shop, deliver finished boxes and level, scribe and align them on site over [n] days.

Cabinet sizes in older Oshawa houses are set by the walls and doorways rather than by standard widths.

What sets the price in Oshawa

No figures published. The drivers, in order.

DriverWhat we look at
Length of the run and the box countEvery cabinet is a box with a door or a drawer bank. More linear feet and more drawers means more shop hours.
Door constructionPainted five-piece and slab sit at one end, sequence-matched veneer and solid fluted fronts at the other.
Tall units and appliance panelsFloor-to-ceiling units, integrated fridge and dishwasher panels and a 9 or 10 ft ceiling add material and fitting time.
Island, stone and integrated pullsA waterfall end, a mitred slab and pulls machined into the door change the build more than any colour choice.

Colour, soft-close hardware and most pulls barely move the number. Every quote is itemized from your drawings and we walk you through each line before you sign.

Custom kitchen cabinets questions from Oshawa

Asked before the first call.

Do you install kitchens in Oshawa yourselves?

Yes. The crew that builds the boxes in our shop delivers and installs them in Oshawa. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor between the drawing and the last door adjustment.

Can I see my Oshawa kitchen before you build it?

Yes. After the measure you get elevations and a photorealistic rendering with your doors, finish and hardware in your own room. Nothing is cut until you approve the drawings.

Can you put a bar in a basement with a low ceiling?

Yes, with honest heights. We measure the finished ceiling at its lowest point, set the counter at a working height and keep anything overhead shallow so it does not catch your head. Where the ceiling is very low we drop the upper storage entirely and use a tall unit against an end wall instead.

What if you find something behind the old cabinets?

It happens in older houses: a pipe in the wall, a patch of missing plaster, a chase nobody knew about. We stop, photograph it and tell you what we found before carrying on. Anything that changes the scope is written up as a line and agreed before the work is done, not after.
