Feature walls in Halton Hills
A feature wall is fluted or slat millwork set out so the rhythm lands correctly at both ends, with any door in the wall built from the same panel. Kitchens, pantries, mudrooms, laundry rooms and built-in storage make up the Halton Hills work.

Halton Hills covers Georgetown and Acton with their older brick houses, plus rural properties on the land between them. Older homes bring plaster walls that are rarely plumb and need packing behind the panels, while newer builds give flat drywall and taller ceilings that suit a full-height run. Town streets allow a driveway delivery, while rural addresses need the driveway, turning space and site contact confirmed first. We measure the wall and every plate on it, machine and finish the panels in our shop, then install against a checked substrate and hold the shadow gaps constant.
Older kitchens in Halton Hills were not planned around three large appliances, so one of them usually moves to a tall run on another wall.

Each wall is quoted on its own line off the setting-out drawing, so the panelling, the concealed door and the returns are all visible as separate items.

Can a feature wall be installed in an occupied Halton Hills home?
Yes. The machining and finishing happen in our shop, so the site work is fixing panels and adjusting reveals. That keeps the dust and the noise in the room for [n] days rather than across the whole project.
Can the wall carry a television or shelves?
Yes, with blocking behind it. We need the bracket details and the screen size at step 01 so the blocking is drawn in and the panel joints fall where the mount will hide them.
Our Georgetown kitchen is small. Can we still fit a dishwasher and a full range?
Usually, by rebalancing the room. Moving the fridge onto a tall run on an adjacent wall frees the main counter, and a narrower dishwasher can be specified where the space is tight. We draw appliances at their real dimensions, including door swings and handle depth, so nothing is discovered late.
We are on acreage. Can you build storage for equipment and boots, not only coats?
Yes. Rural mudrooms get taller lockers, an open drying slot, a bench with drawers or a lift lid, and a section sized to whatever you actually carry in. We specify a plinth and a finish that take being wiped down, and we keep the hardware simple so it works with gloves on.
