Custom closets in Caledon
A custom closet is built to the wall you have, with hanging, shelving and drawer sections set to what you actually own. Caledon has estate builds, converted stone and brick farmhouses and country houses around Bolton and Caledon East, with rooms larger than the regional average. Older houses tend to have narrow, deep closets on a single rod, while newer builds give a wider opening and more height to use above the shelf.

Rural driveways are long and there is space to park a truck and unload in one go, so the run arrives complete rather than in stages. We measure the opening, build and dry-fit the unit in our shop, then deliver and install it, scribing the end panels to the wall on site.
Older houses in Caledon have thick walls and floors that fall away, so levels are taken across the full run and the plinth carries the difference.

How long does a closet take from measure to install in Caledon?
Drawings and a rendering land within [n] days of the measure, the shop build runs [n] weeks after the quote is signed, and install is [n] days. Valmont builds in Richmond Hill and delivers across the area on our own truck.
Can you build into a closet that still has damaged drywall?
Yes, as long as the wall is sound where the cabinets fix. Patching and painting behind the run is easier before we deliver, so we flag anything that needs attention at the measure rather than on install day.
Do you come out to Caledon for a site measure?
Yes. Caledon is inside our service area and a rural address is treated the same as a city one, though the measure and the install are scheduled as full days rather than fitted around other stops. [Kam confirms travel arrangements for addresses beyond the usual region.]
The floor in our farmhouse kitchen is not level. How do you deal with that?
We shoot levels along the whole run at the measure. Base cabinets are built square and set on a levelling plinth, so the counter comes out flat and the fall is taken up in the plinth. The plinth is then scribed to the floor and finished, which is why it is built taller at the low end.
