Will white oak yellow over time?
Untinted clear coats amber with age and sun. A matte coat with a white tint slows that and keeps the pale colour. Direct sun on one door will still change it faster than its neighbours; window film helps.
Rift or plain sawn?
Rift for a calm, linear grain on tall doors; plain sawn for more figure and movement on a smaller piece. We show both on the sample board.
