Concept imageryThe centre panel is MDF so the paint does not crack at the joints as the seasons change; the frame can be MDF or solid wood depending on the profile. The colour comes from a deck you hold in your own room's light, and the same deck paints the millwork elsewhere in the house.
Bone white is the finish people choose when they want the stone or the floor to be the subject. Pair it with a warm counter and unlacquered brass and it reads soft; pair it with black hardware and a dark island and it reads sharp.

Asked before the sample ships.
Does a painted shaker door chip?
Sprayed lacquer is hard once cured, and a chip at an edge is touched up with the same paint. Solid wood frames move with humidity and can show a hairline at the joint; an MDF centre panel avoids the crack in the panel itself.
Can I choose any white?
Yes. Whites differ by a few points of yellow or grey, and the difference shows against your floor and stone. Hold the sample in the room in daylight and at night before you decide.
