Will a dark finish make the room feel small?
A dark built-in wall reads as depth rather than a wall if it is lit and if the rest of the room stays light. Where the room is small and dim we show a mid-tone on the rendering beside it so you can compare.
Does dark paint fade?
Sprayed lacquer holds its colour indoors. Direct sun on one door over years can lighten it a shade; the touch-up paint comes from the same batch, so a door can be resprayed to match.
