Built-ins in Brampton
Attached garages and wide driveways make staging easy, and most main floors are a level carry from the door. Boxes are built and finished in the shop, delivered and scribed to the alcove over [n] days. Built-ins are cabinets and shelving fixed to the room, drawn to the walls they sit against and scribed on site.

Brampton, on the ground.
Brampton is largely newer subdivision housing with square walls and nine foot main floor ceilings, plus older and smaller houses downtown and in Bramalea. Older houses with chimney breasts and alcoves are made for built-ins; newer rooms with flat walls gain a place for them from a run of shelving with a lit centre. Kitchen replacements, serveries, pantries, mudrooms off the garage and basement units are the common jobs.
Because builder cabinetry in Brampton stops short of the ceiling, the quickest gain in storage is tall units run to the underside of the ceiling with a scribe at the top.

No figures published. The drivers, in order.
| Driver | What we look at |
|---|---|
| Linear feet and shelf count | Open shelving is the lightest line; closed cabinets with doors and drawers add parts. |
| Site conditions | Chimney breasts, sloped ceilings and out-of-square alcoves add scribing time. |
| Door construction and finish | Painted shaker at one end, veneer or fluted fronts at the other. |
| Lighting and stone | Lit shelves and a stone top on a console add wiring and a fabricator. |
Paint colour and hardware are the smallest lines. Site conditions and what the piece hides set the number.
Asked before the first call.
Do you build alcove units in Brampton?
Yes. Alcove built-ins either side of a chimney breast are one of the most common jobs in Brampton. Each side is measured separately and drawn as a pair.
Are built-ins in Brampton painted on site?
No. Everything is sprayed in our shop, so the room stays clean and the finish is smoother. Scribe edges are touched up after fitting.
Do you build the mudroom off the garage?
Yes. The usual package is a bench with drawers under it, a hanging rail or hooks, tall lockers for coats and a tray at the bottom for boots. It can carry the same finish as the kitchen so the two rooms read together, and it sits on the quote as its own set of lines.
Can you replace the builder kitchen in a newer Brampton house without moving the plumbing?
Usually, yes. If the sink, range and fridge stay where they are, the work is cabinetry and counter only. We hold those positions in the drawings and flag any outlet that has to move for a panelled appliance or an under cabinet light, so the electrician has it in advance rather than on install day.
