Custom kitchen cabinets in Newmarket
Newmarket combines older frame and brick houses with low basements near Main Street and family subdivision housing spread around them. Older kitchens bring bulkheads, out-of-square corners and plaster to scribe to; newer ones bring long runs, islands and ceilings tall enough for two-tier uppers. A custom kitchen is measured, drawn and rendered before a board is cut, then built in our shop and installed by the same crew.

Kitchens with islands and pantries, mudrooms, basement kitchenettes and wall units, and closets. We measure to the millimetre, build and dry-fit in the shop, deliver finished boxes and level, scribe and align them on site over [n] days.
In Newmarket basements the usable height is set by the ducts, so the top of the run is carried at one line across the whole wall.

Do you install kitchens in Newmarket yourselves?
Yes. The crew that builds the boxes in our shop delivers and installs them in Newmarket. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor between the drawing and the last door adjustment.
Can I see my Newmarket kitchen before you build it?
Yes. After the measure you get elevations and a photorealistic rendering with your doors, finish and hardware in your own room. Nothing is cut until you approve the drawings.
How far ahead do we need to book a Newmarket install?
The drawings and your approval come first, then the shop build takes [n] weeks, and the install is booked from the end of that. The site has to be ready as well: finished floor down, walls painted and services roughed in. [Kam confirms current booking lead time.]
Our basement ceiling is low. Is a built-in still worth doing?
Usually, yes, because a low room reads better with storage that stops at one consistent height than with freestanding furniture at four different heights. We set the top of the run under the lowest duct and carry that line across the whole wall, which makes the ceiling look intentional rather than cramped.
