Custom kitchen cabinets in York (Toronto)
A custom kitchen is measured, drawn and rendered before a board is cut, then built in our shop and installed by the same crew. Main kitchens, basement second kitchens, vanities and closets make up most of the work here.

York runs from Junction semis to Weston and Mount Dennis detached houses, mostly early last century, with plaster walls and narrow rooms. Older kitchens bring bulkheads, out-of-square corners and plaster to scribe to; newer ones bring long runs, islands and ceilings tall enough for two-tier uppers. Stairs turn at a landing and halls are tight, so runs are split into boxes sized for that turn and jointed on site. We measure to the millimetre, build and dry-fit in the shop, deliver finished boxes and level, scribe and align them on site over [n] days.
Older houses in York have moved since they were built, so scribe stiles and site-cut fillers are part of the design from the first drawing.

Colour, soft-close hardware and most pulls barely move the number. Every quote is itemized from your drawings and we walk you through each line before you sign.

Do you install kitchens in York yourselves?
Yes. The crew that builds the boxes in our shop delivers and installs them in York. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor between the drawing and the last door adjustment.
Can I see my York kitchen before you build it?
Yes. After the measure you get elevations and a photorealistic rendering with your doors, finish and hardware in your own room. Nothing is cut until you approve the drawings.
Can you build a second kitchen in the basement?
Yes. We design to the ceiling height under the lowest duct, use the sink and vent positions already there where we can, and keep the tall units clear of the beam. Any [second suite requirements from the City] are for the owner or the builder to confirm before the cabinetry is ordered.
The walls in my house are plaster and nothing is straight. Does that change the job?
It changes time on site rather than the cabinets themselves. We add scribe stiles at the ends of each run and oversize the fillers, then cut them to the wall during the install. The itemized quote carries the install as its own line so you can see what that stage covers.
